1. The Secret Chambers Escape Room in Dallas
The Secret Chambers is the #1 escape room in the Dallas/Fort Worth area! What Makes Escape Rooms a Great Activity for Families in Dallas?
Escape rooms are a great alternative instead of movie theaters because of their more interactive experience. If your family enjoys puzzles, board games, video games, or movies, you’re sure to enjoy the interactive, immersive experience that an escape room offers!
If an escape room in Dallas sounds like something you want to try during your stay, here are some things to expect from the experience:
- Escape rooms commonly give players about 60 minutes to explore a “locked” room or chamber.
- Each room is themed, making it a compelling, time-traveling adventure! Some will make you step back in time to a 1930s speakeasy, a Wild West train adventure, or a pirate ship escape! The Secret Chambers currently has six different escape rooms (three in Fort Worth/Dallas and three in Arlington).
- Some escape rooms will have an age limit. For example, The Poe Adventure in Arlington is for ages 10+.
- Please note that escape room adventures will often require crawling on all fours or walking up and down staircases, so some escape rooms are not wheelchair accessible. You’ll have to choose an adventure that accommodates for wheelchair accessibility if needed.
- Keep in mind that escape rooms may have flashing lights, which may cause reactions in persons with photosensitivity.
