If you’ve been looking for something other than going to the movie theater or amusement park, you’ll find that an escape room is the perfect activity to do with friends and family! At The Secret Chambers, we have two locations – one in Arlington, and one in Fort Worth – that each have three escape rooms that you can try.

Locations in Arlington & Fort Worth
Our Arlington location is home to the third installment of The Pirate Adventure, and the award-winning Area 51 Adventure and Poe Adventure escape rooms. Players can enjoy moderate to advanced difficulty. There are multiple MIND-BENDING puzzles and an IMMERSIVE storyline that is themed based around fantasy or actual historical events. Our escape room artist team has put years of combined effort into making The Pirate Adventure: Chapter III, The Area 51 Adventure, and The Poe Adventure an awesome, unforgettable experience!
At our Fort Worth/Dallas location, we also have three escape rooms, including our award-winning Mafia Adventure, the wild-west themed Train Heist Adventure, and the remastered Witch’s Tower adventure. No matter if it’s trying to track down Bonnie and Clyde, or trying to reverse the curse of the evil Witch, players of all ages will enjoy the challenges that come with our Fort Worth escape room adventures! The Witch’s Tower Adventure
Difficulty Rating: **
Location: Fort Worth
With the The Witch’s Tower Adventure, you’ll enjoy an immersive, fairy-tale adventure to help save the land from falling into eternal darkness. In the courtyard of the Witch’s Tower, you’ll try to find a way into her lair and steal powerful artifacts. Meanwhile, you’ll be aided by magical creatures as you embark on your quest.
Overall difficulty rating for this escape room is about 2 stars – a great adventure for the entire family!
The Poe Adventure
Difficulty Rating: **
Location: Arlington
Age Limit: Due to spooky themes, players must be at least 10 years old or above
No matter if you’re a fan of Edgar Allan Poe’s work, you enjoy poetry and literature, or you simply just enjoy a spooky escape room experience, you’ll definitely enjoy The Poe Adventure, which won the “Top Escape Room” award by Morty in 2022. When you step in, you’ll find that you’ve been hired by the Law Office of Hoggs, Frogs, Bogs, and Co. to explore Poe’s home and discover the truth of what really happened surrounding the events of his death.
Please note that participants must be over the age of 10 in order to join in on this escape room adventure!
The Pirate Adventure

Over the years, one of The Secret Chambers‘ most popular escape rooms has been our pirate-themed Pirate Adventure: Chapter III. In this third chapter of the story, you and your group have been chained, blindfolded, and locked in the ship’s brig. The captain has left a bomb in the brig with you, leaving you with only an hour to make it out!
You will rely on communication, teamwork and the help of a fellow condemned pirate who is desperate to escape his own doom.
The Train Heist Adventure
Difficulty Rating: ***
Location: Fort Worth
Another fan favorite is The Train Heist Adventure. At a 3-star difficulty rating, you’ll enjoy the puzzles and tricks aboard this high-speed Wild West train! This iron horse has been constructed to withstand even the most cunning of bandits (you!) and plenty of security features to keep the likes of you away from the gold.
Can you and your other fellow bandits grab the gold and make it out before the hour is up?
The Area 51 Adventure
Difficulty Rating: ****
Location: Arlington
If science fiction is your preference, you’ll thoroughly enjoy (and be challenged by!) The Area 51 Adventure, the winner of the REA Golden Lock Award in 2022! The mysteries of Area 51 have been the topic of internet rumors and science fiction dreams for years. Now, in this escape room adventure, you’ll get to uncover all the experiments and hidden artifacts of Area 51.
Your mission – to discover all the secrets before the anti-matter bomb counts down to zero and keeps them a secret…forever.
The Mafia Adventure
Difficulty Rating: ****
Location: Fort Worth
Our most difficult escape room. In hot pursuit of notorious outlaws Bonnie and Clyde, your posse arrives at their last known location: a jazz club in Hell’s Half Acre, Fort Worth’s thriving gambling district. Your mission in The Mafia Adventure is to explore all the secrets of the club – which is rumored to be owned by the local mafia – and locate the whereabouts of those two before they give you the slip.
The Mafia Adventure won the “Top Escape Room” award by Morty in 2022.
Pro Tips for Having Fun in Any Escape Room – No Matter the Difficulty!
Ask for Hints
To help get the most out of your escape room experience, the staff at The Secret Chambers highly recommends that you ask hints as you solve the escape room. In fact, your Game Master will be on standby as you need him/her. This is to help you keep progressing through the story, so that you’re not “stuck” for too long – the hour goes by quick!
The More, the Merrier!
Be sure to bring friends, family, or co-workers with you! As the saying goes, “great minds think alike,” so with more brains comes more creative, logical, and tactical ways to discover clues and solve puzzles! Communicate with Your Team
One of the coolest parts of the escape room experience is just getting to spend time with your friends and loved ones as you work to solve the escape room together. If you or a team member finds a clue, be sure to let your team know about it! Everyone in your group has different strengths and can each contribute in different ways.
