(aka Game Master) • Part-Time • Starting at $11/hr + Tips
Fort Worth, TX / Arlington, TX
Step into the story! As an Escape Room Host at The Secret Chambers, you’re not just running a game - you’re directing a live adventure! From inside our Control Room, you’ll use cameras, microphones, and monitors to guide players through epic challenges in real time.
Think of it like this: If the players are the heroes of the movie, our Escape Room Hosts are the director behind the scenes pacing the action, keeping the suspense alive, and helping them save the day right on cue!
You’ll start by mastering one room, and with training, level up to controlling multiple games at once - all while making sure the experience stays fast, fun, and immersive!
What You’ll Do:
• Welcome players and set the scene for their adventure
• Monitor the game from the Control Room using cameras, audio, and game software
• Send clues and encouragement at just the right moments to keep the story moving
• Reset rooms and props quickly and carefully between games
• Make light repairs when possible, and report major prop issues
• Help keep all rooms and backstage areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Ensure every game runs safely, smoothly, and full of energy
What We’re Looking For:
• Age 18 or older
• Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Can lift up to 30 lbs and move quickly when needed
• Comfortable speaking to groups and multitasking under pressure
• Has reliable transportation
• Loves puzzles, performance, and running the show from behind the curtain
• Team-minded, dependable, and totally drama-free
This is part video game mission control, part live theater tech booth, and 100% fun. If you're sharp, creative, and love helping people have a great time, you're gonna fit right in.
