What is a Rage Room?
If you’re not already familiar with what a rage room is, it’s essentially an enclosed room where it’s safe to destroy various objects. These include but are not limited to old electronics, furniture, and glassware.
Rage rooms allow participants to let out their anger, or are even a fun thing to do on the weekend or for a birthday party.
Typically, participants can choose from different packages that include various items to break along with different “weapons” to break them with. Along with weapons, The Secret Chambers also provides protective gear such as a helmet, gloves, and eye protection to ensure your safety.
How Rage Rooms Got Started
Rage rooms first got started in 2008. The initial idea was that rage rooms could provide a therapeutic way of releasing pent-up anger and frustration, or even just offer people a lot of fun by allowing a safe space to smash objects.
Now in the 2020s, Rage rooms are now popular around the world can now be found in various countries, including the United States.

Benefits of Rage Rooms
There are several benefits to trying out a rage room.
For example, it is an awesome experience, especially if you bring one, two, or three other people to join you in the fun! It can even provide a unique bonding experience and way to build communication skills for friends and family members. Even though the session is only 20 minutes long, we also have escape rooms, an arcade, and axe throwing, so you can make your time at The Secret Chambers an entire afternoon or evening if you want!!
Of course, rage rooms are also a unique way to relieve stress and have “alone time” with your inner beast. Many participants report feeling a sense of release after a rage room session. Read more here about why recreational smashing could be good for your mental health.
